One more shot of the setup. The fermentation sensor is attached to the bucket. The ambient temperature sensor is just hanging off the edge of the chair, about a foot away. Pretty crazy how different the temps can get between the two, considering how close they are to each other. My hunch is that the fermentation temperature is still off by a few degress of the true temperature. Perhaps I should invest in some thermowells?
